The M3 offers an incredible array of performance at a more affordable price. Highlights include two fully differential conversion channels, separate conversion for PCM and native DSD, and a balanced analogue-level control circuit, making it suitable for all applications. In addition, the M3 incorporates the latest Bricasti Design high-performance MDx processor.

ARCHITECTURE
The M3 utilises two independent linear power supplies for analogue and digital processing to ensure low noise and superior isolation. A newly designed chassis made from robust CNC-milled aluminium in sections ensures superior thermal characteristics, excellent vibrational damping and shielding from RF.

The M3’s digital design employs precision DDS clocking that lowers jitter to extremely low levels, ensuring a pure digital signal path without using sample rate converters, combined with superior digital filter design and Native DSD conversion yields a state-of-the-art digital audio path. The M3’s high-speed low distortion analogue path features a bypassable preamp class analogue level control, allowing the M3 to drive power amps directly with no bit loss for optimal analogue performance.

The M3H was designed for the discerning headphone aficionado in mind. Featuring independent analog amplifiers for plus and minus on the XLR output to create a fully balanced headphone system with exceptional performance.

The Bricasti MDx digital processor represents a significant technological advancement, built on a proprietary platform that has undergone years of development. This processor transforms and refines our entire line of digital-to-analogue converters (D/A converters). It offers exceptional accuracy in timing and improves incoming master clocking, enhancing network performance for superior sound quality. Additionally, the MDx introduces support for DSD256 over USB. With the MDx, audio quality is elevated to a new level of precision and excellence.

The I2S input is now available as an option on all new Bricasti DACs and can be added as an upgrade for existing customers.
