The M1S2 (Series II) brings a fresh look and upgraded features to the M1 series, succeeding the legacy M1SE model. This new design reflects Bricasti Design’s extensive expertise in high-precision D/A engineering, optimised for audio purists. Focused on simplicity and performance, the M1S2 includes the latest MDx processor, high-current twin linear power supplies with larger performance capacitors, and a robust, handcrafted chassis milled from solid aluminium. Standing taller than its predecessor, the M1S2 now has upgraded Stillpoint feet as standard, setting new performance milestones for the series.

The M1S2 utilises Bricasti Design's latest proprietary MDx digital platform, clocking algorithms and filter technology for exceptional performance without the use of SRC's so signals stay native. The digital section is coupled with a pristine analogue path with the goal of delivering the most faithful possible representation of tonality, precision and dimension.

The M1S2 digital input selection is well-appointed to fit most systems. It also features a fully differential design, which creates a less resistant output signal path, ideal when matched with a fully differential M20 preamplifier and the Bricasti range of power amplifiers.

The Bricasti MDx digital processor represents a significant technological advancement, built on a proprietary platform that has undergone years of development. This processor transforms and refines our entire line of digital-to-analogue converters (D/A converters). The I2S input is now available as an option on all new Bricasti DACs and can be added as an upgrade for existing customers.

PLATINUM
BEAUTY
In addition to the standard Classic (Black) and Argento (Silver) finishes, an optional authentic Platinum finish is available for the M1S2. This finish involves anodizing the base aluminium metal, starting with a layer of copper, followed by nickel, and finally applying a 40-micron coating of pure Platinum in-house. The stunning mirror finish enhances the aesthetics and increases the chassis's mass with precious metals. This added weight improves performance, offering better tonality and resolution due to its effective RF rejection.
