Discover the M1 Classic, Bricasti's first Digital-to-Analogue Converter (DAC), designed to deliver exceptional detail and precise spatial resolution in sound. Every component of this DAC has been meticulously analysed and crafted to ensure complete musical reproduction, capturing every nuance of the recording with remarkable clarity and richness. It’s no surprise that many professional recording studios worldwide choose Bricasti products for their outstanding audio performance.
DUAL MONO
MASTERPIECE
The M1 Classic digital-to-analogue converter is a dual mono design; there are two completely isolated channels, each with its own dedicated linear power supply, D/A converter, DDS clocking, and analogue circuitry. This design ensures that analogue crosstalk is virtually nonexistent and that the necessary power requirements for each channel are well met and isolated from each other. The digital processing is isolated, having its dedicated power supply.
DIGITAL
PURITY
With our twin DAC design, the dynamic range for each channel is optimised by using the stereo ADI 1955 D/A converter in a mono configuration. The M1 also includes Bricasti's proprietary filter technology, further opening new territory with what is achievable in a modern D/A reference.
PURe
SIGNAL
The M1 Classic utilises Bricasti Design's latest proprietary MDx digital platform, clocking algorithms and filter technology for exceptional performance without the use of SRCs so signals stay native. The digital section is coupled with a pristine analogue path with the goal of delivering the truest possible representation of tonality, precision and dimension.
FEATURES
PROCESSOR
MDX OS
The Bricasti MDx digital processor represents a significant technological advancement, built on a proprietary platform that has undergone years of development. This processor transforms and refines our entire line of digital-to-analogue converters (D/A converters). It offers exceptional accuracy in timing and improves incoming master clocking, enhancing network performance for superior sound quality. Additionally, the MDx introduces support for DSD256 over USB. With the MDx, audio quality is elevated to a new level of precision and excellence.
PERFORMANCE
I2S: RAW
The M19 Reference SACD/CD Transport features our proprietary I2S digital output, designed exclusively for Bricasti DACs. This direct interface ensures seamless integration, elevating performance with improved clarity, enhanced layering, and a broader sound spectrum. The I2S input is now available as an option on all new Bricasti DACs and can be added as an upgrade for existing customers.
EFFORTLESS
STREAMING
The Bricasti Network Player Card ensures pristine data transmission over long distances, eliminating signal loss or degradation. Enabling your server to be placed anywhere on the network creates a clutter-free listening environment without compromising performance. It delivers exceptional streaming and high-fidelity audio playback by seamlessly integrating with Bricasti DACs and compatible audio software like Roon, JRiver, Audirvana, and JPlay.
