REFERENCE JUBILEE

A New Era of Precision and Performance

The new Reference Jubilee turntable represents the pinnacle of Clearaudio's legacy, fusing the best aspects of the brand’s past, present, and future to usher in a new era of analogue precision. With a design focused on achieving unparalleled speed stability, exceptional resonance control, and remarkable torque, this turntable redefines the standard for high-end vinyl playback.

The Reference Jubilee achieves extraordinary rotational speed consistency by incorporating analogue and digital innovations. A high-resolution 12-bit DAC generates the drive motor’s voltage with zero fluctuations or ‘drift’, even under varying time and temperature conditions.

This advanced DAC works in harmony with Clearaudio’s optical speed control system, which uses an optical sensor to monitor the rotational speed of the 8.5kg stainless steel subplatter every three seconds. Any slight deviations in speed are immediately corrected by adjusting the motor’s voltage, ensuring flawless performance.

The 6cm-thick main platter, crafted from highly damped polyoxymethylene (POM), rests on Clearaudio’s patented ceramic magnetic bearing (CMB), ensuring the platter’s rotation is as precise and stable as possible. The motor housing is expertly decoupled from the chassis by a rubber ‘tightropes’ system, minimising unwanted vibrations and enhancing sound clarity.

The Reference Jubilee also features a new air-core (non-magnetic) 24-volt DC motor, which runs incredibly quietly, ensuring the listener can enjoy a pure, undisturbed listening experience. This combination of cutting-edge technology and precision engineering offers a truly breathtaking moment of torque and rotation, marking a new chapter in analogue audio excellence.
