The Performance DC is equipped with a newly developed DC motor featuring high-precision bearings and a flat belt drive. It also boasts a 40mm thick POM platter, all supported by Clearaudio’s ceramic magnetic bearing (CMB) to provide optimal conditions for accurately sampling record grooves. For those who desire even greater resonance control, an enhanced version with a wooden chassis is available, offering superior sound isolation.
No matter which version of the Performance DC you choose, the combination of excellent tracking properties, hyper-accurate speed synchronization, and superior craftsmanship guarantees an unparalleled listening experience.
The design of the Performance DC reflects its audio capabilities, showcasing an elegant and minimalist appearance with clean lines. Depending on your preference for Moving Magnet (MM) or Moving Coil (MC) cartridges, several package options are available. MM enthusiasts can opt for the Performance DC package that includes the Clarify tonearm and the Virtuoso V2 cartridge.
For MC cartridge lovers, the package features the Satisfy Kardan Aluminium tonearm paired with the exceptional Talisman V2 Gold cartridge. The ultimate package showcases the award-winning TT5 tangential tonearm along with the remarkable Essence MC cartridge.
