The precision-machined chassis consists of a sandwich of aluminium and panzerholz, a bulletproof wood containing over 100,000 tiny metal balls that eliminate harmful resonance, ensuring the purest sound possible.
Beneath a 40mm-thick platter made from resonance-damping POM, a quiet, high-torque, decoupled DC motor guarantees consistent performance. Clearaudio’s Optical Speed Control (OSC), featuring infrared sensor technology,y continuously monitors the platter's speed in real time for near-perfect accuracy.
The Ovation delivers extraordinary sound clarity with a CNC-milled, 40mm thick synthetic platter and an aluminium sub-platter. Its exceptional speed accuracy, measured at ± 0.03% and low power consumption exemplifies precision in every detail.
The turntable features an innovative resonance-optimised body constructed of bulletproof wood sandwiched between two precision-machined aluminium plates, providing both acoustic isolation and aesthetic refinement. Speed options include 33 ⅓ and 45 RPM, offering versatility for various vinyl formats. A high-torque, 24V DC motor designed exclusively for Clearaudio drives the turntable, while the decoupled motor minimizes resonance and unwanted vibrations.
