This turntable features a 38mm-thick platter crafted from dynamically balanced polyoxymethylene (POM), a material renowned for its superior resonance-damping qualities. A high-torque 24V DC motor powers it developed exclusively for Clearaudio, which ensures impeccable rotational stability. The motor is decoupled from the chassis using advanced damping technology to eliminate vibration interference. At the same time, the Optical Speed Control (OSC) system continually monitors and adjusts the speed for flawless accuracy.
By marrying groundbreaking engineering with minimalist aesthetics, the Innovation Basic delivers unparalleled performance for its class. It is ideal for both seasoned audiophiles and newcomers seeking Clearaudio's signature sound quality and precision.
The resonance-optimised chassis combines the strength of panzerholz (bulletproof wood) with precision-machined aluminium, offering outstanding stability and acoustic isolation. This turntable’s thoughtfully engineered design makes it possible to mount a second tonearm, enhancing flexibility and allowing for the playback of a wide variety of vinyl formats.
The Innovation Basic also incorporates Clearaudio’s patented Ceramic Magnetic Bearing (CMB) technology, which ensures ultra-smooth platter rotation and minimizes friction for exceptional audio fidelity.
