Crossover Network with Paracross Topology
The crossover network implements Paracross Topology, reducing sensitivity to radio-frequency interference and lowering the noise floor. This approach improves transient response and clarity. New, customised Clarity Cap capacitors further enhance the precision and transparency of sound reproduction.

Sophisticated Cabinet Design
The Olympica Nova W maintains the iconic asymmetrical lute shape, an original Sonus Faber design that enhances cabinet acoustics while allowing versatile positioning. The curved, multi-layer wood construction eliminates parallel surfaces, reducing internal resonances and optimising bass response. Inspired by nature, the cabinet follows an organic spiral flow, blending form and function into a seamless whole. The reflex duct is now fully integrated into the cabinet, improving airflow control, speed, and sound transparency.
Advanced Acoustic Engineering
28mm Silk Dome Tweeter: The soft dome tweeter features Sonus Faber’s D.A.D. (Damped Apex Dome) technology, which applies local dampening to the apex of the diaphragm. This innovative approach extends high-frequency response and eliminates anti-phase behaviour, resulting in smooth, detailed, and natural treble reproduction.
Optimized Mid-Woofer: The mid-woofer adopts the same design principles as its larger siblings, with unique adaptations for wall-mounted use. Its coated fabric dust cap enhances air-tightness, improving air movement and efficiency without distortion. The moving coil is optimised for bass performance, delivering extended excursion and deeper, more controlled bass.
Structural Rigidity
Like the Homage Tradition and Reference collections, the Olympica Nova W features a cabinet crafted from eight layers of bent wood, delivering exceptional rigidity and structural stability. This design minimises vibrations and enhances overall acoustic performance, reproducing crystal-clear sound.
