Iconic Cabinet Design
The Olympica Nova III features Sonus Faber’s signature lute-shaped cabinet, a design inspired by the curves of musical instruments. This construction eliminates parallel surfaces, minimising internal resonances and standing waves for clean, natural sound. Crafted with eight layers of bent wood and finished with hand-applied natural wood veneers, the cabinet is a statement of Italian craftsmanship. The integrated Stealth Ultraflex™ system, made from extruded aluminium, manages airflow with precision, enhancing bass performance and reducing turbulence.
Advanced Acoustic Technology
28mm Silk Dome Tweeter with DAD™ Technology: The tweeter utilises Damped Apex Dome (DAD™) technology to extend high frequencies beyond 30 kHz, ensuring smooth, detailed, and natural treble reproduction.
150mm Midrange Driver: The midrange driver features a natural fibre diaphragm and an organic basket, providing unparalleled tonal accuracy and dynamic performance. The inclusion of an aluminium phase plug enhances off-axis dispersion and ensures consistent performance across the soundstage.
Dual 180mm Woofers: The Olympica Nova III includes two sandwich cone woofers with a paper pulp diaphragm and a hi-tech foam core. This design delivers fast, controlled, and impactful bass, seamlessly integrated with the mid and high frequencies.
Structural Rigidity
Like the Homage Tradition and Reference collections, the Olympica Nova V features a cabinet crafted from eight layers of bent wood, delivering exceptional rigidity and structural stability. This design minimises vibrations and enhances overall acoustic performance, reproducing crystal-clear sound.
