M20 SOURCE CONTROLLER, CLASSIC OR ARGENTO FINISH: £15000
PLATINUM FINISH: £18000
Fully Analogue Preamp: Designed as a fully differential, dual mono Class A analogue preamplifier.
Precision Volume Control: Utilises a discrete resistor-ladder attenuator for high-resolution control with digital precision, preserving tonal balance at all volume levels.
Independent Power Supplies: Three linear power supplies are at the core of the M20—two for the analogue channels and one dedicated to the digital control circuit, ensuring clean isolation and stability.
Flexible Output Options: The M20 boasts three separately buffered analogue outputs (two balanced XLR and one unbalanced RCA), ideal for bi-amping or multi-zone setups.
High-Quality Components: Built with ceramic circuit boards and premium Vishay resistors for optimal signal integrity and sonic character.
Stillpoints Isolation Feet: Equipped with high-end Stillpoints feet for enhanced isolation and reduced vibration.
The M20 Preamplifier builds on the analogue design of the M12 dual mono source controller to deliver a rich analogue experience with fluid, fast and tonally balanced audio. The M20 features fully differential and independently buffered signal paths for superior isolation and purity of sound. A proprietary, all-discrete resistor ladder attenuator, ceramic circuit boards and three dynamic Class A linear power transformers create the ultimate platform for your audio system.
The attenuator is a discreet ladder of digitally controlled resistors in 1dB steps utilising Vishay foil resistors in critical locations in the circuit; we find them to have a unique sound, so we employed them to impart a tonal character to the M20; the PCB is made from ceramic materials that offer excellent dialectic properties. The final output buffers are a proprietary in-house discreet design, and level control is accomplished using an R2R ladder technique. This allows for perfect balance and tonal character at any level with recall, programmable input offset and remote control capabilities.
CHANNEL
YOUR POWER
The M20 features three separately buffered analogue outputs, two balanced and one unbalanced. The output buffers are our discreet design which is also based on other products found in the M1, M12 and M21. All signal switching and hard output mutes are done using logic-controlled relays. With three separately buffered outputs, the M20 is ideal for bi-amp applications with two balanced outs to drive two power amps or run two or three zones.
THE HEARTH
OF YOUR SYSTEM
The M20 includes 2 balanced XLR inputs/outputs and 1 unbalanced RCA input/output. Pre-set channel naming conventions from the display can be uniquely customised through the menu as well as fine adjustment of level offset. The trigger-out mini-jack on the rear can be connected to our power amplifiers or DACs by sending a 5V DC voltage trigger to power them in and out of standby.
MASTERFULLY
CONNECTED
The M20 is a fully differential dual-mono preamp powered by three linear power supplies, one for each of the analogue sections and a separate supply for the digital control circuit processor, ensuring isolation from the analogue PCB and power supplies in a full Class A design. The M20 comes complete with Stillpoints isolation feet and is available in our Classic anodised black finish, clear aluminium Argento finish or in Platinum finish with brass fittings.

FEATURES
PLATINUM
BEAUTY
In addition to the standard Classic (Black) and Argento (Silver) finishes, an optional authentic Platinum finish is available for the M20. This finish involves anodizing the base aluminium metal, starting with a layer of copper, followed by nickel, and finally applying a 40-micron coating of pure Platinum in-house. The stunning mirror finish enhances the aesthetics and increases the chassis's mass with precious metals. This added weight improves performance, offering better tonality and resolution due to its effective RF rejection.
