Rhomboidal Diamond Design
The cabinet retains the striking Rhomboidal Diamond Design, featuring five asymmetrical sides that eliminate parallel walls, reducing standing waves and internal reflections for pristine acoustic performance. Enhanced with damper shelves made from solid billet aluminium, the structure achieves greater rigidity, lower resonance, and minimises spurious noise.
Innovative Beryllium DLC Tweeter
The Il Cremonese Ex3me employs a Beryllium DLC tweeter, delivering exceptional transparency and microdynamics. To counter the typical "metallic flavour" of beryllium, Sonus Faber applied a Chemical Vapor Deposition treatment, coating the diaphragm with Diamond Like Carbon (DLC). This process enhances rigidity and raises the resonant frequency, ensuring ultra-fast, detailed, and airy sound reproduction free of coloration.
