In addition to streaming, the DS200 features eight digital audio inputs, enabling you to connect audio components with digital audio outputs, such as a CD player or tuner. It supports high-resolution digital audio playback, with its USB input accommodating native playback of up to DSD512 and DXD up to 384kHz, while the coaxial and optical inputs can decode digital music up to 24-bit/192kHz. The HDMI (ARC) input makes the DS200 ideal for watching your favourite TV shows and films, delivering high-quality audio that surpasses standard TV speakers or soundbars. Popular multi-channel audio formats from Dolby and DTS are expertly converted to two-channel audio for optimal playback.
The DS200 is equipped with both balanced and unbalanced analogue outputs, allowing it to connect to your preamplifier or integrated amplifier. We offer both balanced and unbalanced cables to facilitate these connections. From the factory, the DS200 is set to fixed output mode, meaning volume control is managed by your preamplifier, integrated amplifier, or another component with volume control capabilities. However, it also offers the flexibility of variable output mode. In variable mode, the DS200 can be connected directly to a power amplifier in an audio system with only digital audio sources, where it will take over volume control.
