Designed to perform from the ground up, the Blumenhofer Tempesta 17 offers high-end sound at a competitive entry-level price point on both HiFi and Home Cinema systems. Smaller in dimension than the Tempesta 20, they still possess the same outstanding qualities but in a friendly form: no distortion, no overhang, no blurring of the edges. Tones and colours are seamless, detailed, and faithful to the original recordings.

AS STANDARD
The Tempesta 17 is our complete proficiency in an entry level product: a convincing and able speaker for both HiFi music reproduction and Home Cinema applications. The woofer is made of a new P2C® Sandwich Membrane consisting of 2 Peek® (Victrex) sheets with carbon inlays. Its characteristic of high stiffness and no resonances in the application spectrum allows it to perform brilliantly with no time-smear that plagues many loudspeakers without sounding thin or brash.
The compression driver is an improvement through a special Blumenhofer treatment. This, combined with the wooden horn front, is one of the secrets of the natural sound of the Blumenhofers: an extraordinary natural and clear sound.
