AUDIOPHILIA UK & LAMBORGHINI REVUELTO LAUNCH
On 29th March 2024, Audiophilia UK had the privilege of attending the exclusive launch of the Lamborghini Revuelto at the Lamborghini Showroom in Edinburgh. This groundbreaking supercar blends extraordinary performance with unparalleled luxury.
The atmosphere at the event was electrifying, as guests were treated to a display of not just a remarkable vehicle, but a full sensory experience. The Revuelto, with its 6.5-litre V12 engine paired with three electric motors, delivers an astonishing 1,001 horsepower, launching from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds. But the event's magic went beyond the car itself – it was about creating an unforgettable experience for all the senses.
Alongside Lamborghini’s masterpiece, Audiophilia UK had the opportunity to showcase the bespoke audio systems from Sonus Faber. These premium speakers, integrated into the Revuelto, represent the perfect harmony of sound and speed. Powered by 750 watts of amplification and seven meticulously engineered speakers, the system ensures that every drive is accompanied by exceptional sound quality, elevating the entire driving experience.
Audiophilia UK also set up a separate sound system outside of the car to further enhance the event, featuring Sonus Faber Maxima Amator speakers paired with the McIntosh MA8950 integrated amplifier. This setup ensured that the entire event was enveloped in rich, high-fidelity sound, complementing the sleek aesthetic of the Revuelto and amplifying the immersive atmosphere.
It was an absolute pleasure for Audiophilia UK to be part of this iconic moment, alongside guests from Finesounds UK: Tim Jordan, Andy Oattes, and Joe Gormley, who joined in celebrating the fusion of cutting-edge automotive and audio technology. Together, we experienced how the perfect pairing of Lamborghini and Sonus Faber can create a driving experience that engages all the senses, igniting emotions with every turn of the wheel and every note played.
The Revuelto’s in-car sound system’s design is a marvel, with each speaker carefully crafted to optimise space and clarity. Every system detail is designed to bring the car's sound to life from the deep, resonant midwoofers to the NanoSilk tweeters that ensure precise high frequencies. What makes it truly special is the hand-tuned finishing touches from Sonus Faber artisans, who painstakingly listen to various tracks to ensure every note is as natural and immersive as possible.
