PU7 TITANIUM TONEARM

9" PU7 Alloy Tonearm: from £3,900

12" PU7 Alloy Tonearm: from £4,500

With a minimalist yet robust design, the PU7 Titanium delivers an untainted, pure signal, thanks to the premium materials used in its base, armtube, headshell, and cabling. The precision-tooled, seamless titanium armtube enhances rigidity and strength, providing even greater accuracy and neutrality compared to the PU7 Alloy.

The armtube features Audio Origami's unique Meta Material Armtube Damping System (M.M.A.D.S.), 3D printed from an ultra-light, ultra-rigid material. This system ensures perfect damping while keeping the internal cabling isolated from the armtube, minimising resonance for a cleaner signal.

The internal cabling, provided by Cardas, is wired to a Zavfino1877 DIN connector, giving you the flexibility to choose your preferred tonearm cable. The 12-inch version of the PU7 Titanium shares nearly identical characteristics with the 9-inch version but offers more dynamic range and improved tracking, thanks to the benefits of a longer arm.

The PU7 Titanium is bead-blasted, brightened, and anodised in satin silver or satin black finishes, allowing you to select the perfect match for your turntable. It looks exceptional, delivers an unbelievably pure sound, and once you hear it on your turntable, it will likely become the last tonearm you'll ever need.

M.M.A.D.S

M.M.A.D.S: META-MATERIAL ARM DAMPING SYSTEM

All tonearm tubes experience resonance, regardless of the material from which they are made. Vibrations caused by the stylus, along with airborne resonance, travel up and down the arm tube and its internal cables. This movement increases the noise floor and compromises the signal captured by the cartridge.

Audio Origami has developed a unique method for damping arm tubes, ensuring optimal resonance control. This method, known as M.M.A.D.S., features a tunnel embedded within the arm tube made from a material that allows the internal cabling to "float."

This design significantly reduces the resonance that reaches the cables. The tunnel is suspended by ultra-thin flanges made from a vibration-rejecting material. Unlike other damping methods, such as foam or rubber, M.M.A.D.S. does not muffle the sound. In fact, it lowers the noise floor to such an extent that listeners can enjoy greater clarity and a sense of airiness in their records.
